Collect ⚡ orbs and bank trick combos to charge the portal. Watch for mud and lava — heat vents launch you skyward. Heavier planets pay bigger trick bonuses. Hold your balance (stick / A·D / W·S) during grinds and manuals. Press flips twice for doubles! Roll through a green gate to start a side-by-side race circuit — riding a charged portal opens the map so YOU choose the next world.
GRINDING: hold C / R1 near any rail, roof edge, pipe lip, crater rim, mesa crest, rock lip, or gate bar to snap on — you won't latch while just rolling past. A fast, aimed landing can still lock in briefly. MAGENTA rails = boost, GOLD = double points. Wax lines mark grindable edges. Jump off and tap A/D to hop between lines.
SPEED & STAMINA:W / R2 is a push to get rolling or climb hills — not a cruise button. Once you're moving, downhills and FLOW carry you. Uphill pumps cost stamina; coasting refills it. Rails, vents and declines break the kick cap into FLOW. Variety pays: repeating a trick in one combo earns less each time, and mixing an air trick + grind + manual lands the FULL FLOW x1.3 bonus.
LANDINGS: impact, angle, and unfinished tricks decide how hard you eat it. A stumble briefly separates you from the board — combo stays alive. A bail is a full tumble and drops your combo. A ragdoll sends board and body flying — reserved for lava, huge impacts, and faceplants at speed.
TRICKS & COMBOS (THPS-style): chain shove-it into kickflip/heelflip in one air for Varial / 360 Flip / Laser Flip. U = Impossible. Grabs change with stick (Indy, Melon, Nose, Tail, Method). Balance during grinds names the grind (50-50, Nosegrind, Smith, Crooked…). Brake while manualing = Nose Manual. The live combo meter climbs with multiplier — land chains like Flip to Manual or Grind to Flip for bonus mult. Bank clean to hear NICE → SICK → INSANE → LEGENDARY.
